Sunrise is moving to Sunrise Edge, a serverless Layer 1. Every holding on cosmos Sunrise is carried over. You do not need to take any action.
The network and previous site end at the v2.0.0 upgrade.

Answers for holders.
Your holdings are recorded at the v2.0.0 snapshot and carried over to Sunrise Edge. You do not need to prepare your wallet before the upgrade.
Account balances, liquidity pool positions, and every other holding on cosmos Sunrise are carried over to Sunrise Edge.
RISE remains the core asset of the Sunrise Edge ecosystem. Further detail will follow.
On Sunrise Edge the stablecoin’s backing changes from USDN, which is being sunset, to USDC. You will still be able to buy it and withdraw it as USDC to EVM chains and elsewhere.
ATOM, OSMO, and other Cosmos tokens remain withdrawable to Cosmos chains after the migration.
Positions are settled when cosmos Sunrise shuts down and carried over as account balances. Sunrise Edge will not ship a DEX at launch.
Sunrise Edge has no validators. Staking on cosmos Sunrise is settled at shutdown and added to your account balance before the migration.
Locked RISE is carried over as-is, including remaining lock state. You do not need to withdraw before cosmos Sunrise ends.
No. You do not need to unbond, claim rewards, close positions, or move funds. The migration does not require a holder action.
Previous Sunrise
At the v2.0.0 upgrade on 5 October 2026, height 6,504,000, the network, app, and explorer stop. The existing app will no longer be available after shutdown.
Holdings on that network are carried over to Sunrise Edge. You do not need to use the previous app before it ends. The previous site, including its app and explorer, remains at cosmos.sunriselayer.io until shutdown.
